The Check Out My Melody Music Workshop is a work in progress.
The goal of the songwriting workshop is to share music knowledge and experience that has been gained by some of the best in the industry, with our future musicians and business enterprenuers. The music business is a vast industry, open to any field from marketing, to promotions, music, accounting, writing and engineering. The list is endless.
The workshop will introduce the music songwriting and production aspect of the music business, which will incorporate all the other possibilities within the music industry. So even those who are not musically inclined may want to attend.
The workshop is intended to be available to our youth after school, on a local sight, once a month. Each workshop will provide goals that students will work on toward the next meeting.
Songwriting
Songwriting is more than writing poems. It is usually a collaboration of several great minds, building an intangible gem to be shared with the world. Music Production
One can not write a song absent of music. A song may be written without words, or to words and melody. Students will work with recording equipment. Talent Showcase
